Erin Stroup has 24 years of experience as a public school teacher and department chairperson, and he is a 16 year resident of Horsham. Erin, and his wife Megan, have four children in the Hatboro-Horsham School District. As a teacher, Erin has received the “Voices of Inspiration” Grand Prize Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is also a two-time quarter-finalist for the “Grammy Award for Music Education”, and a semi-finalist for the “Music and Arts Educator of the Year” award.
Erin earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Mansfield University and his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of the Arts. He also completed post-Master’s Degree work at Villanova University as well as the Educational Leadership program at the California University of Pennsylvania.
Erin is committed to supporting and empowering our teachers and administrators to help our learners strive for excellence, celebrate diversity, and build resilience. He will lead by example, serve with integrity, and act as a conduit for all members of our community.
