for Borough Council

Donald Hoover has been honored to serve on the Hatboro Council since 2024. A proud resident of Hatboro for 30 years with his wife and two daughters, he brings a deep commitment to fostering a thriving, inclusive community. Don is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Hatboro residents through thoughtful decision-making, community engagement and development, and a focus on lowering taxes.

Don has been involved in coordinating and helping with many community events. Currently, he serves on the Pennypack Events Committee, assisting with events such as Borough Bingo, Sip 'n Shop, and Music in the Meadow. Don is also the community development chair and looks forward to working closely with Hatboro residents and business members to improve Hatboro’s growth while preserving the unique character and charm that make it special.

As a member of Borough Council, Don is committed to ensuring that every resident’s voice is heard and valued. He regularly attends community meetings and encourages open dialogue with residents and business owners to understand their concerns and ideas. Whether working on issues like public safety, economic development, or environmental sustainability, Don strives to make decisions that reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.

 

In addition to serving on Borough Council, Don has been a Hatboro-Horsham School District employee for 22 years, starting at Pennypack, and is currently the Crooked Billet Facilities Coordinator. He is also a member of Lehman United Methodist Church and was active as a member when his daughters were younger.  Don is excited about the future of Hatboro and looks forward to continuing to serve the community with integrity and dedication.
