Amanda Jacobus has been a Hatboro resident for 30 years. An alumna of Hatboro-Horsham High School (Class of 1998), Amanda prides herself on being an active member of the community. She currently serves as a Councilwoman for the Borough of Hatboro. She is the Chair of the Public Safety Committee and the Co-Chair of the Facilities Committee. She also serves on the Pennypack Indoor Facility Committee.

Amanda has been married to her husband, Robert, for 21 years. They have two children. Hope, 17, is a Junior at Hatboro-Horsham High School. And, Henry, 5, will be starting kindergarten at Crooked Billet Elementary School this coming Fall. Amanda has worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years. She currently works at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery as a Labor & Delivery nurse. She is also the head of the Hatboro-Horsham High School Theatre Parent Committee.
Amanda has always said that what is most important to her is being a kind & involved member of the Hatboro community. If elected, Amanda plans to continue to be a strong voice for community members. She also plans to continue to work with residents and business owners to understand their needs and work toward goals that are in the best interest of the community.
